Sponsor Spotlight: Eurofins US Foods – Driving Gender Equality in Nutraceuticals

Jennifer Keaveny, and Marisa Feller from Eurofins joining WIN members at the WIN Expo West reception 2025.

At Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), we are proud to partner with organizations that not only lead in their industries but also champion gender equality and inclusive leadership. One such leader is WIN Silver Sponsor, Eurofins US Foods, a global company with more than 62,000 employees across 62 countries, and a firm commitment to cultivating a safe and equitable work environment.

We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Marisa Feller, President of Botanicals Testing at Eurofins US Foods, about the company’s efforts to advance gender diversity, its sponsorship of WIN, and the broader cultural and business impact of prioritizing inclusivity.

What inspired you to become involved in promoting gender equality and supporting Women In Nutraceuticals?

“Eurofins has over 62,000 employees in over 62 countries, and we want to demonstrate to both our internal teams and industry our commitment to Gender Equality and a safe and equal space for all employees.”

How does your company benefit from supporting gender equality initiatives, both in terms of culture and business outcomes?

“By having everyone encouraged to have a voice and work in a safe and inclusive environment, we set ourselves up for success so that our employees can be proud of the work they are doing for our clients and therefore demonstrating our vision, Testing for Life.”

What specific initiatives or programs has your company implemented to foster gender diversity, and what results have you seen so far?

“Eurofins has a dedicated Equality Driving Excellence team that drives conversations and resources that encourages trust and equal opportunities for all employees. This has been a great resource for our teams and has created a safe space for open conversations.”

How do you envision the future impact of your company's involvement in this gender diversity non-profit? What is on your wishlist?

“We are looking at additional opportunities to be a part of WIN volunteer network as well as collaborate on industry events and educational opportunities.”

How do you engage and encourage male employees within your organization to actively participate in gender diversity initiatives?

“Our EDE team promotes and facilitates internal panels and conversations that are targeted to a wide variety of demographics within the organization. One of these events is a Men’s Roundtable that drives conversations around ‘Unconscious Bias’ and ‘Breaking Barriers for All.’”

What challenges have you faced while implementing gender diversity initiatives within your company, and how have you overcome them?

“With such a large and global team we have had to find activities and topics that appeal to a wide variety of demographics. By having representation in multiple countries, we are able to ensure that this messaging reaches all in a meaningful way.”

How do you ensure that gender diversity is not just a checkbox, but an integral part of your company's values and practices?

“We offer a wide variety of educational opportunities and discussions to ensure that the team has ample opportunities to learn and demonstrate equality for all.”

What advice would you give to other CEOs or leaders who want to make their organizations more diverse and inclusive?

“Demonstrate the culture that you want to achieve. Lead and facilitate conversations to ensure all feel safe, welcome, and equal.”

What else would you like us to know?

“We are excited to be a part of WIN and all of the ways we can work together in 2025!”
