WIN Volunteer Committees

Our tireless, passionate, and dedicated volunteers are truly the lifeblood of this organization.

As WIN continues to grow globally, the Board of Directors has developed a new governance framework for our WIN committees. The new structure was developed to enable WIN to become truly a global organization, with all members working together toward one vision, to “achieve economic and social equality in the global nutraceutical industry”. Global Board: Sets strategy for the organization, with responsibility for creating the strategic plan objectives and vision.

Functional Committees: Tri-chairs, one for each region, collectively, create the tasks and KPIs for the strategic plan and have

the budget guidance to execute against it, and organize the committee the necessary roles for execution. Each functional

committee has a board liaison, who works in collaboration on vision and holds the co-chairs accountable for meeting KPIs and

execution against the strategic plan.

Regional Officers: Support communication within the region, supporting country-level initiatives and engagement. They

coordinate regular meetings for all volunteers within a region, ensuring functional chairs have the opportunity to report on

strategic initiatives and opportunities and offering visibility into country-level opportunities. The executive director and one

board liaison meet regularly with the 6 regional officers, reviewing new opportunities and regional insights.

Staff: WIN is supported by a part time paid staff. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and programs

of the organization, managing business practices and strategic functions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality benefits to

members and sponsors. Part time staff members are dedicated to MarCom, Programming, and Membership committees with additional staff support

for the remaining committees.
