WIN Entrepreneurship Training: Transform Your Innovation into an Investable Business

The world is full of entrepreneurs who have fantastic ideas for new products and services. But the hard truth is that only a small percentage of these innovations are transformed into viable businesses. That’s because, no matter how awesome the idea—and no matter how intelligent, hardworking or ambitious the founder—it’s typically the business model, not the product or service, that determines whether or not a company will flourish and find sustained success.

This is why, beyond simply having a great idea, it’s perhaps even more critical to develop a solid business plan around that great idea.

OK, but how? What should that plan look like? What elements do potential investors want to see?

Fortunately, Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN) members don’t need to tackle this alone. WIN’s Entrepreneurship Committee has launched the Entrepreneurship Training and Pitch Contest program specifically to support female founders in the nutraceutical and wellness sectors.

Limited to 25 selected companies, the inaugural cohort will embark on a 90-day journey of high-value mentorship, business development and connections. From January to April, founders will:

·       Transform their idea into a defensible business plan

·       Gain direct feedback from industry experts on their business model, go-to-market strategy and investment strategy

·       Connect with mentors and potential investors

·       Receive pitch coaching

·       Compete for a chance to pitch live

·       Compete for a chance to showcase for investors

Only 10 companies from the Entrepreneurship Training will be chosen to pitch live, before an in-person and online audience, at the WIN Leadership Summit in Tempe, Arizona, April 24 to 26, 2026.

Additionally, thanks to WIN’s partnership with Nutrition Capital Network (NCN), five or six companies will earn the opportunity to showcase at NCN’s Spring Investor Meeting NCN’s meeting in New York City on April 30, 2026.
